From Vision to Action: GHI’s Strategic Blueprint 2025-2027

On January 14, 2025, at Torre Iberdrola, we unveiled our Strategic Blueprint for 2025-2027. This forward-looking roadmap represents a bold response to the evolving aluminium recycling market, where sustainability, adaptability, and precision are paramount.

🔍 Key Highlights of the Blueprint

Focus Area Key Objectives
Decarbonization Develop zero-emission plants using green hydrogen or plasma and renewable energy.
Digitalization Leverage AI-driven tools for process optimization and autonomous operations.
Customer-Centricity Deliver tailored solutions aligned with client needs and global market trends.

🚀 The Journey Behind the Blueprint

Over the course of 2024, we conducted strategic workshops with our employees, leadership, and ASENTA Consulting. Together, we redefined our mission, vision, and values while tackling key questions:

  • Why do we do what we do?
  • How can we create more value for customers?
  • What must we change to lead in sustainability and innovation?

These discussions laid the foundation for a strategy designed to address global challenges with precision and purpose.

🔑 Strategic Initiatives for 2025

The 2025-2027 blueprint focuses on three transformative pillars:

  • Technology Innovation: Launching advanced furnace designs and auxiliary equipment to maximize metal yield while reducing costs.
  • Global Market Expansion: Strengthening our presence among the top aluminium producers and growing in emerging markets.
  • Team Alignment: Cultivating cohesive teamwork through refreshed values and shared goals.

🌍 Why This Matters

This blueprint is more than a roadmap—it’s our commitment to a sustainable future. By focusing on decarbonization and embracing circular economy principles, we are reducing carbon footprints and helping customers achieve their goals with advanced, resource-efficient technologies.

With 87 years of expertise guiding us, we’re not just adapting to a changing world—we’re shaping it.

GHI Furnaces

GHI Joins the ROTANACE Project to Improve Aluminium Recycling Efficiency

GHI is participating in the ROTANACE project to automate rotary furnaces in aluminium recycling, improving energy efficiency, lowering emissions, and reducing operating costs.

GHI DOJO: Redefining Industrial Furnace Training

The GHI DOJO is the first Industrial Furnace Commissioning Training Center, designed for hands-on, real-world learning. This dedicated facility allows engineers, technicians, and technical students to master furnace commissioning through structured training, process standardization, and live simulations. By bridging the gap between theory and practice, the DOJO enhances operational efficiency, minimizes errors, and develops the next generation of industrial experts.
