Metalogenia now uses a fully automated GHI facility for producing cast parts. This facility specializes in high quality, medium-carbon, low-alloy parts with high wear and impact resistance.

We met Metalogenia’s challenge by building a comprehensive plant that includes a steel foundry and 20 furnaces for thermal treatment. We handled all engineering aspects, from detailed designs to civil work planning.

The heart of the foundry is an 8-tonne arc furnace with advanced features. It controls metal composition precisely, reducing impurities. This furnace uses a smart system to guide operators on alloy additions based on real-time chemical analysis.

Post-casting, parts undergo thermal treatments that increase their toughness and flexibility, making them ideal for automotive use. Our automated systems manage these processes, reducing the need for manual intervention.
